The collaboration by Diaspora Irish artist Fion Gunn and Cairene artist Lina Osama encompasses their participation in 'Colour Code: Red' the Launch exhibition of this year's programme at Shelter Art Space, Alexandria and a 2 person show at the historic Art & Cultural Centre Bayt Al Sinnari in Downtown Cairo . The artists will show 2D mixed media artworks and immersive film projections which explore the impact of poetry on both of our practices. The themes of the exhibition are those of diaspora, Odyssey, the legacy of myth and reclaiming the place of women in culture and history.
